You need to find an outlet for your emotions even if it is in a diary, the confession booth or with a boxing bag. A friend, a family member or even a shrink is a preferred option but people are different and some are not comfortable with sharing their feelings with others.
It’s the circle of life. What we put inside our bodies physically shows on the outside and determine how we feel about ourselves. So be careful of what you eat because how we feel about ourselves and how we see ourselves, is the most important thing of all.
Keep in Touch
Keeping in touch with different people, people who think and do things differently as to how you do, is what pulls you out of your comfort zone sometimes to make you experience things you would not have experienced otherwise. Stepping out of your comfort zone, experiencing new things, is what makes you grow as a person.
Take a break and spend time on yourself, just you. Working on yourself is very rewarding. It is difficult to find the balance in life but even more so to find it within yourself. You cannot expect someone to love and accept you fully if you do not love and accept yourself.
Not only does exercise produce the “happy hormone” (endorphins) but it results in a better physical body which in turn boosts your self esteem. You will love yourself more.
Stay as far away as possible. Any substance gives you a temporary boost and then when the effects wear off you fall down further then before. I’m not saying a glass of wine or two with a meal or a cold beer after a long day is a bad idea. I’m just saying that moderation is the key.
Do Something You’re Good At.
By doing something you are good at you concentrate on you strong points and boost yourself up. So use your time and energy on something that brings you positive feed back.
Care for Others
By caring for others and helping where your help is needed, you efforts will be appreciated and their appreciation will make you feel good about yourself.
